Food Waste Reduction Bill Heard in Committee

House and Senate committees in the Maryland General Assembly have scheduled bill hearings for pre-filled legislation.

The House Environment & Transportation Committee heard testimony this week on HB 42, legislation focused on reducing food waste in landfills and encouraging recycling and composting programs. This initiative aims to foster a more sustainable approach to waste management, benefiting both the environment and our communities.
